Josef Albers quote

Recently I came across a quote from the great artist Josef Albers that read, " Abstraction is real, probably more real than nature."

I love this quote, especially as a designer who works in figurative and abstract forms. Lately, I've been working more in the abstract sense and this quote just stuck with me.

I decided to use it as an in class example for my typography poster assignment that I give to my Graphic Design students at Gnomon and I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out.
